Slimavite Diet Day 58 and weigh in

So its weigh in day again and finding the energy to get on those scales this morning was hard lol. What with my new tablets and what feels like the flu in the summer lol this week has been hard even my poor daughter has suffered. But on the plus side i have lost 2lb this week woohoo lol. Only a small figure but after weeks of no loss at all this has made me very happy. Hopefully i can keep losing a pound or 2 a week and in 6 weeks time when i go on holiday i can wear a bikini proudly!

Its not unusual for me to not know about a great web site that potentially could save me money, the one thing I always forget to do is to "shop around" when purchasing online .Normally I just visit one of the regular web site's I buy from and pay whatever ridiculous price they want for the latest "hot" or "must have" items. Slimavite Diet Day 54 and an epiphany

So I've not been blogging on here for about 10 days now about my slimavite diet and there is good reason for this. For the best part of a year now I've been backwards and forwarding from hospitals having various tests done, i wont bore you with the long story about why but what i will say is that this week there was an epiphany. Some of the test results came back and identified the problem and I've had a lovely weeks holiday in my local hospital not :( needless to say they wouldn't let me drink my shakes whilst in there lol but they have shed some light onto why my weight isn't coming down despite the copious amounts of exercise i do and the fab slimavite diet programme I'm following. Well one rather nasty operation later and some new medication and hopefully in a few weeks time the slimavite diet should be showing better results. So with that I'm off to have my delicious strawberry shake for lunch!

Product Review: NYC Cosmetics

So its been a while since i did a review on here.......Shocking i know! A while ago i was a very lucky girl and the lovely people at NYC Cosmetics sent me a HUGE stash of make-up (as pictured). Well its taken me a while to get round to trying it all and i thought id review some of my fave products out of the lot here for you gorgeous people.

So 1st up is the wonderful "Matte Powder Foundation" Now i love this product, i wear it every day. Its especially great for summer when you don't want such a heavy base for your make-up. Just one sweep with my big fat powder brush is all it takes and it doesn't leave your skin with that crepey/patchy look like some powders do

Next Up is "The Metro Quartet in Lexington Luxury" This is my new must have item. It is a gorgeous eyeshadow set that consists of a shimmery nude eye shadow, a cream coloured highlighter, a brown shading eyeshadow for the crease and a black powder liner to bring the look together. It is so natural looking that i don't feel as if i am wearing make-up even though i know i have just put it on and the great thing about the liner is that you can choose how black you do it just dampen the liner brush that comes with it before applying the powder and it goes on blacker and more defined.

And finally "The High Definition Volume Mascara" Now i have very thin and sparse eyelashes and this mascara really plumped them out and made them look fuller and thicker. The applicator gets to every lash even the tiny ones in the corners and unlike some other mascaras that i have tried it doesn't flake off when you curl your lashes! leaving beautiful flutter lashes for you to bat at whom ever you choose.

So there you go 3 products that i wouldn't be without for the summer season that make that flawless natural look we all crave super easy to achieve!

Slimavite Diet Day 44 and weigh in

OK so i did so well last week (in fact i was ill and ate hardly anything all week) and then i went a spoiled it by over indulging at a christening on Sunday with 10 glasses of wine and several plates of buffet food throughout the day :( So I'm not at all surprised by today's weigh in. Although i suppose i can be glad that i didn't pile loads of weigh on and in fact just stayed the same so no weight loss again. Ive got the bikini out of the draw this week to see how far off i am from being able to wear it on holiday and i can actually get it on! So i must be doing something right lol but i am far from ready to wear it confidently so i must keep going!!!

Slimavite Diet Day 37 and weigh-in

OK so Thursdays here which is weigh in day and I'm happy to report a loss of 1lb this week not a massive amount i know but a loss is a loss i guess and ill have to keep going and see if i can get back up to maybe a 3lb a week loss! I hope all my other slimavite buddies are doing well too!

Slimavite Diet Day 36

So not too bad this weekend again a nice long walk on Saturday too which felt good. It was lovely to receive a card from Amy and the team this week really made me feel as if i wasn't doing this alone as with other diets. Feeling very bloated and fat this week stupid Aunt Flo so we'll see what effect that has on the weigh-in tomorrow! All in all apart from being faced with temptation at every corner (my 2 year old wanted to bake cupcakes today! arghhhh) Still doing quite well i think

Slimavite Day 30 and weigh in

OK so today is weigh in day.....Ive tried to keep it to Thursdays every week for a steady result. And i have to say I'm a bit deflated i have lost 0 lbs this week and Ive been extra good no slips ups lots of exercise and salad extra so i can really understand why Ive not lost anything.....But ho hum instead of getting upset and disheartened i am just vowing to keep going and hopefully the figures will start coming down again soon!
